WELCOME
The world is a stressful place. It can often leave you feeling overwhelmed and under-fulfilled. We can relate. At Springtown we have found a vision that gives a greater meaning and purpose to all the ordinary events of our lives. Our desire is to understand our God-given value, and to seek to follow His guidance in every aspect of life. We have found that this search is most rewarding when carried out in community with others. We'd like to invite you to join us in this search.
We know that it can be intimidating to visit a new church for the first time. We have made it our goal to help you feel at home from the moment you walk through our doors. It is our prayer that you will take that first step, and that you will feel welcome and inspired to come back often.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT
We meet together every Saturday. You are always welcome to join us.
Bible Study Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and Worship begins at 10:45 a.m.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Your presence is more important to us than how you are dressed. You will notice when you come that there are some who dress in suits and nice dresses. Others prefer business casual clothing. There are others who prefer jeans and a simple shirt. Most of us choose clothes that are modest and sensible. You are welcome to dress according to your comfortability.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
If you've got passengers with you, you're welcome to use the drive-through to drop them off near the main entrance. Parking is available on the lawn directly across from the main entrance, in the gravel lot at the end of the driveway, or along both sides of the driveway (where you'll find the most shade). A few paved Handicap spaces are available to the left of the main entrance.
WHEN YOU ENTER
You will be greeted and welcomed at the door by one or two friendly greeters. You will be given a printed version of our weekly brochure called Springtown Life which has all of the current relevant information for our church including upcoming events and ongoing ministries. If you need help knowing where to go, where you might find classrooms for children, or even where to find a restroom or a drinking fountain, our greeters are happy to show you the way. Don't hesitate to ask!
BIBLE CLASSES
We have classes available for all age groups beginning at 9:30 a.m. (we usually refer to this time as Sabbath School). A group for adults meets in the main sanctuary. Our young adults class, Younger Generation (YG), meets upstairs above the foyer. There are also several classes for children, divided according to age groups, down the hall and in the building next door. If you need help finding a class that suits you or your family, please ask one of our greeters.
WORSHIP
Our worship service begins in the sanctuary at 10:45 a.m. Between Bible classes and worship you will find that we are quite sociable. Feel free to take a seat anywhere that you feel comfortable. Additional seating is available in the balcony which is accessible via the stairs in the foyer. Devices for hearing assistance are available upon request.
WHAT ABOUT LUNCH?
Once per month we have a potluck lunch in our fellowship hall. You are welcome to join us. Don't worry about bringing a dish, we always have enough food for guests. Our meals are typically vegetarian, and frequently include vegan and gluten free options. The food is always delicious! (Psst . . . the fellowship is even better!)
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?
Children are always welcome at Springtown! We have Bible classes for children of all ages, beginning 9:30 a.m. every Saturday. Children are also welcome during our worship service. We even have a story for the kids as part of every service. If your kids make noise or get a little fussy, we don't mind. We also have a parent's room, family restroom, and several changing stations available. If needed, feel free to ask where they are located.
